A note on natural color & appearance: Made with 100% raw meat, organs, and bone — no artificial colors or preservatives. Natural color changes can occur during freezing and storage. The outside of the block may appear greenish, gray, or brown from oxidation of natural meat pigments (myoglobin) where it meets air or packaging. Cut into the block and the inside is typically its normal red or pink. Because High Performance also contains organs and green tripe, aroma and appearance may vary batch to batch — this is completely normal for a natural raw diet and does not affect safety or nutrition, provided the product has stayed properly frozen and handled per our storage instructions.
Shipping & storage: Shipped frozen. Some partial thawing may occur in transit; if the product arrives cool or partially thawed but still fresh, it's generally safe to refreeze. Keep frozen until use, thaw in the refrigerator, and use thawed product within 5–7 days.

The outside of the block may appear greenish, gray, or brown due to oxidation of the natural meat pigments (myoglobin) where the product is exposed to air or contacts the packaging. When you cut into the block, you'll usually see the inside is its normal red or pink color.
These natural color changes are expected and do not affect the safety or nutritional value of the product, provided it has remained properly frozen and handled according to our storage instructions.
